Tomomi Menjo

The Merlin Prize Project Manager

After helping DFINITY grow from five to over one hundred employees, Tomomi joins the Merlin Mobility Foundation team to support the Merlin Prize. At DFINITY, Tomomi helped the early-stage startup in every capacity, from workplace operations and office expansion to event logistics and administrative tasks. Prior to her role at DFINITY, Tomomi helped run an accelerator at Women’s Startup Lab in Silicon Valley, where she managed two-week cohort programs for female entrepreneurs and helped build a network of top executives, VCs, advisors, and professors from top universities. Tomomi has always been interested in executing on and scaling big ideas, and at Merlin Mobility Foundation, she dove right into project managing the Merlin Prize to ensure an inclusive future for all.

Tomomi was born and raised in Tokyo and moved to the Bay Area at the age of twelve. She is fluent in Japanese, and during her downtime, Tomomi is a proud Dog Mom to her 6-year-old French Bulldog, Olive. She also enjoys cooking and California sunshine. Tomomi graduated Cum Laude from Santa Clara University with a B.S in Communications.
